It all started when…

…as a corporate traveler, Andrea Dempsey discovered how difficult it was to maintain her natural hair styles with TSA restrictions on the amount of liquids in her carry-on bag. Looking for an hassle free alternative to transferring product into travel size containers, wasting money on purchasing full size products and abandoning them at hotels, Traveling Textures was born.

Andrea attended the local austin community college before becoming a stay at home mother of two. Returning to the workforce, she built a career in Quality Assurance starting as technical support agent to finally launching hardware and software products in casinos across the country. After the recession in 2008, Andrea relaunched her career in recruiting using her experience in quality field to hire for companies of all sizes in the Oil and Gas, Telecom and Technology Industries. Currently she builds strategies for global recruiting programs and creates Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives at one of the Big Four technology companies in the World.
